Amazon Prime Video Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Taken’ Season 2

The second season of NBC’s drama series Taken will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK tomorrow (Saturday January 13th), it has been announced.

New episodes will continue to be made available every Saturday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on NBC in the United States.

Based on the Liam Neeson film series, Taken is described as a modern-day, edge-of-your-seat thriller follows a young but deadly Bryan Mills, former CIA spy Christina Hart and a team of covert operatives as they embark on rescue missions around the world – a job that employs Bryan’s very particular, and very dangerous, set of skills. The drama series is produced by EuropaCorp TV and Universal Television and stars Clive Standen, Jennifer Beals, Jessica Camacho and Adam Goldberg.

In the opening episode of the show’s second season, titled SERE, Bryan Mills fights for his life inside a secret Mexican prison and plans a series of dangerous deals to put him on track for escape to the United States. But plans change when Mills and a young migrant girl (guest star Adriana Santos) are taken by human traffickers. Meanwhile, Christina Hart leverages her spycraft skills to obtain powerful new software that could locate Mills, and enlists two unlikely allies to aid in her mission to bring Mills home.
