Major Crimes will return to Universal Channel to finish airing its sixth and final season from Monday January 22nd at 9pm, it has been announced.
The series goes on a brief six-week hiatus for the festive period following the broadcast of ‘Sanctuary City: Part 5’ on Monday December 11th.
Created by James Duff, Major Crimes follows the major crimes division of the LAPD under the command of Sharon Raydor. The drama series is produced by The Shephard/Robin Company and Walking Entropy, Inc., in association with Warner Bros. Television and stars Mary McDonnell, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Phillip P. Keene, Kearran Giovanni, Graham Patrick Martin, Jonathan Del Arco, Jessica Meraz, Daniel di Tomasso, Leonard Roberts. Returning guest stars include Jon Tenney, Ransford Doherty, Kathe Mazur, Rene Rosado, Dawnn Lewis and Bill Brochtrup.
The next new episode opens a new four-part arc titled Conspiracy Theory. When a well-known attorney (Nan McNamara), celebrated for her defense of oppressed women is found dead, there are no shortage of high-profile suspects, including her son (Fran Kranz), her ex-husband (Daniel Hugh Kelly), a film director (Lenny Jacobson) whose career she helped destroy and a former football player (Chris McKenna) whose sports bars/restaurant chain, Tackles, features scantily clad women. Meanwhile, Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) and Gus (Rene Rosado) confront issues in their relationship.
