Amazon Prime Video Picks Up UK Rights To ‘Life In Pieces’ Season 3

EXCLUSIVE: Amazon Prime Video UK has picked up the first run UK rights to the third season of CBS’ comedy series Life In Pieces, TVWise can reveal. The series is distributed internationally by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

The streaming service originally picked up Life In Pieces in July 2016, when the complete first season was made available to stream for UK Prime members. For season two, Amazon made episodes available less than 24 hours after the U.S. broadcast. They are expected to do that again for season three, which premieres state-side in November.

Created by Justin Adler, Life In Pieces is a single camera comedy about one family told through the separate stories of its different family members. The comedy series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and stars Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, Zoe Lister Jones, Colin Hanks, Angelique Cabral, Thomas Sadoski, Betsy Brandt, Dan Bakkedahl, Niall Cunningham, Holly J. Barrett and Giselle Eisenberg. The executive producers are Justin Adler, Aaron Kaplan, Jeff Morton, Jason Winer and Brad Copeland.

Life In Pieces is part of a growing slate of first run U.S. scripted acquisitions for Amazon Prime Video UK. The streaming service is also the UK home to such shows as Starz’s Outlander, AMC’s Preacher, FOx’s Lucifer, Crackle’s StartUp, History’s Vikings, Hulu’s Casual and The Path, NBC’s Taken, Starz’s American Gods, TNT’s Animal Kingdom and USA Network’s Mr. Robot. It is not immediately clear if they will be picking up any new series from the upcoming 2017-2018 broadcast season.
