Sony Channel Sets Premiere Date For ‘The Night Shift’ Season 4

The fourth season of NBC’s drama series The Night Shift will premiere on Sony Channel on Thursday September 7th at 9pm, it has been announced.

The Night Shift follows the night shift team of doctors and nurses at San Antonio Memorial’s emergency room who are anything but ordinary. The drama series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and stars Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Brendan Fehr, Robert Bailey Jr., JR Lemon, Tanaya Beatty and Scott Wolf. Season four picks up just 48 hours after the season three final and finds the crew navigating the consequences of their decisions. The series has not been picked up for a fifth season.

In the opening episode of the show’s fourth season, titled Recoil, Jordan and Drew perform a daring rescue by jumping from a chopper. Landing at the nearest VA hospital, Jordan sparks a plan to appease Julian and reunite her night shift team. Back at the hospital, Paul deals with the repercussions of standing up to his father while Scott dives headlong into his professional life. Kenny butts heads with Cain (Mark Consuelos), a traveling nurse with a mysterious past. Shannon indoctrinates Cain as they work in San Antonio Memorial’s understaffed and overworked ER. Meanwhile, TC is held captive in Syria. In order to find Syd (Jennifer Beals), TC must treat his captor instead of returning to the safety of an air base with a civilian volunteer, Amira.
