ITV’s ‘Cold Feet’ Adds Siobhan Finneran

ITV’s Cold Feet is adding to its cast. Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley, Downton Abbey) has boarded the seventh season of the series, which is set to premiere next month.

She will play Nikki Kirkbright, a Cheshire housewife that seems to have it all – money, big house and big hair. But something isn’t quite right. David meets Nikki through his career in personal finance and the two soon develop a close bond.

“I’m incredibly happy to be involved in Cold Feet as I’ve always been a fan”, Siobhan Finneran said in a statement. “It’s an absolute joy to be part of such a iconic series. Working with Robert and the rest of the cast has been a great pleasure.”

Other guest stars lined up for the upcoming eight episode seventh season include Robert Glenister, who plays Nikki’s husband George who isnt what he seems; Jacey Sallés as Ramona Ramirez, who’s returned to Karen’s side as her PA in the fledgling publishing company, but her work ethic leaves a lot to be desired; and Paul Ritter as Benjamin, Karen’s new and unwanted business partner.

Cold Feet is produced for ITV by Big Talk Productions and stars James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, John Thomson and Fay Ripley. Series creator Mike Bullen serves as an executive producer alongside Big Talk’s Kenton Allen and Matthew Justice. ITV’s Senior Drama Commissioner Victoria Fea oversees production of the seventh season for the broadcaster. ITV Studios Global Entertainment is handling international sales.
