UKTV’s Dave Channel Renews ‘Alan Davies As Yet Untitled’ For Fifth Season

Alan Davies As Yet Untitled (FT)Alan Davies is returning to Dave. The UKTV owned and operated channel has picked up a fifth season of Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, TVWise has learned. Eight episodes have been ordered for season five, which is set to air in February 2017.

“In this post-truth era, only Dave would dare run a show in which the guests talk openly about events that actually happened”, Davies said. “Many famous comedy faces will appear as well as several talented people I’ve never heard of. Normally, being 50 now, I can’t stand meeting new people but thanks to Dave, I’m overcoming that fear.”

“I am delighted to have a brand new series of As Yet Untitled on Dave, I see it as a vital opportunity to help introduce some of the freshest names in comedy to a broader television audience”, Dave General Manager Steve North said in a statement. “Alan continues to be a brilliantly warm host and unearth some incredibly stories out of an amazing array of guests.”

Alan Davies As Yet Untitled see Davies, armed with one fact about each of his four guests, as they sit around a table and talk about anything. It is produced by Phil McIntyre Entertainment and was commissioned by Steve North and UKTV Director Of Commissioning Richard Watsham. The executive producers are Phil McIntyre’s Lucy Ansbro and UKTV Commissioning Editor Iain Coyle.
