Netflix Sets UK Premiere Date For 'Reign' Season 4 – TVWise

The fourth and final season of The CW’s period drama Reign will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Sunday February 12th, it has been announced.
New episodes will then continue to be made available to stream for Netflix UK subscribers every Sunday, less than 48 hours after they initially air on The CW in the United States. Season four consists of sixteen episodes.
Reign tells the previously unknown and untold story of Mary Queen of Scots’ rise to power when she arrives in France as a 15-year-old, betrothed to Prince Francis, and with her three best friends as ladies-in-waiting. The drama is produced by CBS Television Studios and stars Adelaide Kane, Megan Follows, Rachel Skarsten, Charlie Carrick, Ben Geurens, Spencer MacPherson, Celina Sinden, Will Kemp, Dan Jeannotte and Jonathan Goad.
In the opening episode of the show’s fourth season, titled With Friends Like These, Queen Mary, unsure who to trust, tests her brother James to ensure his loyalty after hearing of his meeting with John Knox. Queen Elizabeth agrees to help Lord Darnley, in an attempt to sabotage the powerful suitor’s relationship with Mary. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Wendy Riss and Drew Lindo.
