Sky1’s four-part Dawn French fronted event drama Delicious will premiere on Friday December 30th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Delicious tells the story of Gina, a passionate cook was once married to Leo Vincent, a successful entrepreneur, chef & hotel owner in Cornwall. Leo owes much of his success to Gina’s exceptional cooking, but since leaving her for the glamorous Sam, his business has continued to thrive.When Sam has suspicions that Leo is having an affair she confides in Gina, confident that she’ll recognise the signs. Only to later discover that it’s Gina herself who is the ‘other woman’.
The four-part event drama was created by Dan Sefton – one of the writer behind Sky Living’s The Gates as well as ITV’s upcoming Good Karma Hospital – and. It is being produced by Bandit Television and stars Dawn French (The Vicar of Dibley), Emilia Fox (Silent Witness), Iain Glen (Game Of Thrones) and Sheila Hancock (The Boy In The Striped Pajamas). The executive producers are Phillippa Giles for Bandit Television and Anna Ferguson for Sky. Endemol Shine International will handle global sales.
