Sky Living Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Conviction’

convictionABC’s Hayley Atwell fronted drama series Conviction will receive its UK premiere on Wednesday November 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced.

Conviction tells the story of Hayes Morrison (Atwell), the former First Daughter, who accepts a job from NY District Attorney Wayne Wallis to avoid jail time for cocaine possession and hurting her mother’s Senate campaign. Working with his team at the new Conviction Integrity Unit will let her use her brilliant mind to turn over cases, where there is credible suspicion of wrongful conviction, and give her a chance to turn things around with her high-powered political family.

The hour-long thriller was co-created by writer Liz Friedman (Elementary) and director Liz Friedlander (The Following) and hails from The Mark Gordon Company, which is based out of eOne, and ABC Studios. In addition to Hayley Atwell, the cast also includes Eddie Cahill (CSI: NY), Shawn Ashmore (The Following) , Merrin Dungey (Alias), Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead), Manny Montana (Graceland) and Daniel Franzese (Looking). The executive producers are Liz Friedman, Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper.
