BBC Three Sets Premiere Date For ‘Doctor Who’ Spin-Off ‘Class’

classBBC Three’s Doctor Who spin-off Class will premiere on Saturday 22nd October, when the first two episodes will be available to stream.

Class is set at Coal Hill Academy, where a new term of students are preparing for their Autumn Prom. But when the school comes under attack, four alienated students must form an unlikely alliance to defeat them. Charlie, April, Ram & Tanya, assisted by their physics teacher Miss Quill, are charged with a great responsibility: guard against the creatures.

The eight episode drama series was penned by young adult author Patrick Ness and is produced for BBC Three BBC Studios Wales in association with BBC America and BBC Worldwide. The cast includes Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed, Katherine Kelly, Sophie Hopkins, Vivian Oparah, Jordan Renzo, Pooky Quesnel and Nigel Betts; while Peter Capaldi will guest star as the Doctor in the series premiere. The executive producers are Patrick Ness, Steven Moffat and Brian Minchin.
