The third season of FX’s vampire drama The Strain will receive its UK premiere on UKTV’s flagship entertainment channel W on Friday September 9th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Based on the series of novels by Chuck Hogan, The Strain follows Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, his team, and an assembly of everyday New Yorkers, as they wage war on the vampire threat for the fate of humanity itself. The drama series is produced by FX Productions and stars Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Kevin Durand, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel, Natalie Brown, Miguel Gomez, Max Charles, Ruta Gedmintas, Rupert Penry-Jones, Samantha Mathis and Joaquín Cosío.
In the show’s ten episode third season, New York City is a battleground. Written off by the federal government, the people of New York City must fight for survival on their own.
