BBC Two’s one-off comedy We The Jury will premiere on Monday September 5th at 10pm, it has been announced.
We The Jury is about jury duty, something lead character William has dreams of doing his whole life. He’s always known he was destined to be a juror but he never imagined that when the day finally came he’d land the mother of all jury gigs – an actual murder trial.
The comedy stars Ed Easton (Inside No. 9), Sophie Thompson (Jericho), Diane Morgan (Rovers), Oliver Maltman (Cuckoo), David Schaal (Doctors), Kenneth Collard (I Want My Wife Back), Kae Alexander (Game Of Thrones), Vivienne Acheampong (The Aliens), Samson Kayo (Youngers), Maggie Steed (Chewing Gum), Ricky Champ (Plebs) and Kerry Howard (Young Hyacinth).
Part of the BBC’s Landmark Comedy Season, which celebrates the past sixty years of comedy, We The Jury was penned by comedian James Acaster and is being produced by Big Talk Productions. Josh Cole is the producer, while Big Talk’s Kenton Allen and Saurabh Kakkar serve as the executive producers. The one-off is directed by Ben Taylor
