Syfy Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Killjoys’ Season 2

Killjoys - S2The second season of Killjoys will receive its UK premiere on Syfy UK on Tuesday August 2nd at 8pm, it has been announced.

From Lost Girl creator Michelle Lovretta and indie Temple Street Productions, Killjoys follows a fun-loving, hard living trio of interplanetary bounty hunters sworn to remain impartial as they chase deadly warrants throughout the Quad, a distant system on the brink of a bloody, multi-planetary class war. The series stars Hannah John-Kamen (Black Mirror), Luke Macfarlane (Brothers & Sisters) and Aaron Ashmore (Warehouse 13).

The show’s second season picks up from the events of the season one finale, with with Dutch and John trying desperately to find their brother-in-arms who’s been kidnapped at the hands of Dutch’s duplicitous and mysterious childhood mentor, Khlyen (Rob Stewart). As surprising truths are revealed, the Killjoys’ loyalties are tested as they struggle to balance the lives of their killjoy family and defending the good of the Quad.

    Iove your website and am very glad you returned. As a Sci Fi geek I’ve enjoyed both Dark Matter and Killjoys, but I’m at an absolute loss as to why no one in the UK has aired by far the best (and most expensive) of SyFys three new space programmes- The Expanse. Do you have any idea why?
