BBC Two Sets Premiere Date For ‘Boy Meets Girl’ Season 2

Boy Meets GirlsThe second season of BBC Two’s transgender sitcom Boy Meets Girl will premiere on Wednesday July 6th at 10pm, it has been announced.

Created by Elliott Kerrigan, Boy Meets Girl follows Leo, whose bad day gets worse when his blind date fails to show up. But then he bumps into Judy and finds himself deeply attracted to this surprising and beguiling woman.

The comedy series is produced by Tiger Aspect Productions and stars Denise Welch (Benidorm), Rebecca Root (Normal), Harry Hepple (Misfits), Janine Duvitski (Benidorm), Nigel Betts (Emmerdale), Lizzie Roper (Hollyoaks) and Jonny Dixon (Coronation Street).

In the show’s six episode second season, Judy (Rebecca Root) and Leo (Harry Hepple) are in love, committed to one another and making plans for a future together. Their respective families are very supportive but cannot help sticking their noses in and causing a fair amount of chaos along the way.
