Amazon Prime Instant Video Sets Premiere Date For ‘Mozart In The Jungle’ Season 2

Mozart In the Jungle

The second season of Mozart In The Jungle will premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video on Wednesday December 30th, when all ten episodes will be available to stream for Amazon Prime members in the UK, Germany, Austria and the US.

Penned by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Alex Timbers, Mozart In The Jungle is all about sex, drugs and classical music and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens on stage. The comedy stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Saffron Burrows, Lola Kirke, Malcom McDowell and Bernadette Peters. Returning guest stars for the new season include Wallace Shawn, Debra Monk, Mark Blum, Joel Bernstein and Brennan Brown.

In the second season, despite months of practice, the orchestra’s growth has stalled since Rodrigo’s triumphant debut as Maestro. An upcoming Latin America tour, a potential labor strike, and illicit romances hang over the symphony, especially for Rodrigo, whose Mexico City performance will be a highly anticipated homecoming… if it is still his home. Hailey struggles to find her footing, both romantically and professionally. Meanwhile, with the orchestra’s current contract set to expire, Gloria and Cynthia find themselves pitted against one another.
