Fox Developing 'Haunted' Drama From William Brent Bell & Chris Morgan – TVWise

Fox is developing Haunted, an hour-long horror drama loosely based on the book The Demon of Brownsville Road by Bob Cranmer which hails from The Devil Inside writer/director William Brent Bell and Gang Related’s Chris Morgan, TVWise has learned.
Haunted is described as a chilling horror series about a military agent who is partnered with her ex-boyfriend, now a rogue demonologist, to help a family overcome a deadly demonic infestation of their home. The season-long case investigates the true story of one the most haunted houses in America. The believer-vs.-nonbeliever duo, by solving the mystery of the present, will solve the mystery of their damaged past.
William Brent Bell is penning the script for the project, which is set up at Fox’s sister studio 20th Century Fox Television. He will also serve as an executive producer on Haunted alongside Ainsley Davies and Chris Morgan, who is based at the studio under an overall deal. Lisa Arianna is also attached to serve as a producer. At present, Fox has only handed out a script commitment to the drama.
Chris Morgan, who served as an executive producer on the short-lived Fox series Gang Related and is best known for his work on the Fast & Furious film series, is staying busy this development cycle. He is also serving as an executive producer on the reboot of The A Team, which is also set up at 20th Century Fox Television. There is no network attached to that project as of yet, but it is not expected to land at Fox Broadcasting Company.
