Food Network is getting into business with The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood. The Scripps owned channel has given the green-light to Paul Hollywood’s City Bakes, an ten episode travelogue series that follows Hollywood as he travels the world to explore local cuisine.
Paul Hollywood’s City Bakes will follow the renowned British baker as he the travels to Madrid, Miami, Munich, Warsaw, London, Naples, New York, St Petersburg and Copenhagen to explore the recipes that have shaped the baking heritage of each city. Paul will uncover family recipes, hotel delicacies and local favourites before adding his own ‘Hollywood twist’ to a classic.

The ten-part series was commissioned by Scipps Networks UK & EMEA’s Senior Vice-President of Channels Kevin Dickie and Gareth Williams Vice-President of Commissioning; and is being produced by independent production company Reef Television. Dunk Barnes is the series producer, while Nikki Cooper and Chris Kelly will executive produce. Paul Hollywood’s City Bakes will air on Food Network in the UK in 2016, before being rolled out in more than 100 international territories.
