Jekyll & Hyde (FT)

ITV’s new take on Jekyll & Hyde will premiere on Sunday October 25th at 6:30pm, it has been announced.

Inspired by the original novella by Robert Louis Stevenson, Jekyll & Hyde is set in 1930s London and will follow Robert Jekyll, the grandson of Henry Jekyll, on his quest to discover his real identity, his true family history and the nature of his ‘curse’ – which his foster father, Dr Vishal Najaran, is controlling with medication. His journey will take him into a dark and unforgiving place, as his alter ego seems capable of anything. At the same time there are shadowy forces trying to find Jekyll and the source of his powers.

Jekyll & Hyde was developed for television by novelist Charlie Higson and stars Tom Bateman (Da Vinci’s Demons), Richard E Grant (Downton Abbey), Natalie Gumede (Coronation Street), Stephanie Hyam (Murdered By My Boyfriend), Donald Sumpter (Game Of Thrones), Amit Shah (The Smoke), Phil McKee (Ripper Street), Christian McKay (Theory of Everything), Ruby Bentall (Poldark), Enzo Cilenti (Game of Thrones), Lolita Chakrabarti (Death in Paradise), Michael Karim (Inspector Lewis) and Ace Bhatti (Silk). ITV Studios is producing. Charlie Higson and Francis Hopkinson are the executive producers.

TVWise’s UK Premiere Dates page has been updated with this new information.
