BBC One Sets Premiere Date For ‘Citizen Khan’ Season 4

Citizen KhanThe fourth season of BBC One’s comedy series Citizen Khan will premiere on Friday October 30th at 8:30pm, it has been announced.

Created by Adil Ray, Citizen Khan is set in the capital of British Pakistan – Sparkhill, Birmingham – and follows the trials and tribulations of self-appointed Muslim community leader Mr Khan and his long suffering family. The comedy series is produced by BBC In-house Comedy and stars Adil Ray as Mr Khan, Shobu Kapoor as Mrs Khan, Maya Sondhi as Shazia Khan and Bhavna Limbachia as Alia Khan.

In the show’s fourth season, Mr Khan is enjoying his new role as a grandfather to newly born ‘Baby Mohammad’ and goes to extraordinary lengths to prove that the ‘genius’ baby is more genetically Khan than Malik. He even tries to land an unlikely job at the local academy to boost Mohammad’s chances of getting a place. Elsewhere, Mr and Mrs Khan are forced to face up to the fact that Alia might have found herself a boyfriend; and Mr Khan attempts to be Birmingham’s new local hero in order to bag a Pride of Birmingham Award.
