USA Network has set launch dates for their Josh Holloway fronted sci-fi series Colony and the second season of Satisfaction.
Up first is Satisfaction, which kicks off its second season on Friday October 16th at 10/9c; while Colony will premiere on Thursday January 14th at 10/9c. The premiere dates where announced by USA Network at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, which comes to a close tomorrow after the better part of three weeks.
Colony tells the story of a family torn by opposing forces and making difficult choices as they balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. Set in the near future, the story takes place in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. Some collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.
The hour-long drama hails from Universal Television and Legendary Television. The cast in being led by Josh Holloway, who plays Will Bowman a former FBI agent who is forced to work with the occupying forces to keep his family safe; and Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Katie Bowman, Will’s wife. The executive producers are Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condol, who also created the series.
