Rockmond Dunbar Joins Jason Katims’ Hulu Series ‘The Way’ – TVWise

The Mentalist and Sons Of Anarchy star Rockmond Dunbar has signed on for a co-starring role opposite Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) and Michelle Monaghan (True Detective) in Parenthood creator Jason Katims new Hulu series The Way.
The Way follows the Cleary family, consisting of Eddie (Aaron Paul) and Sarah (Michelle Monaghan), who are at the center of a controversial movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power, with each episode taking an in-depth look at what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.
According to Deadline, Rockmond Dunbar, whose previous credits also include Terriers and Prison Break. will play FBI Special Agent Abe Gaines, a thorough investigator who seems to be the only law enforcement officer suspicious of the mysterious religious sect that recently responded to a natural disaster
Set to premiere this Winter, The Way is one of a number of new projects to get the greenlight at Hulu in recent months as the streaming service is recommitting to original scripted series. Jessica Goldberg created the project and will serve as the executive producer/showrunner on The Way, which is set up at Universal Television. Jason Katims and Michelle Lee also serve as executive producers.
