FXX has set fall premiere dates for the new seasons of You’re The Worst and The League, both of which originally began their runs on sister network FX.
The seventh and final season of fantasy football series The League kicks things off on Wednesday September 9th at 10/9c, followed by the sophomore season of relationship comedy You’re The Worst on Wednesday September 9th at 10:30/9:30c.
The League follows a group of old friends in a fantasy football league who care very deeply… about beating each other for bragging rights. The comedy series, which airs on Netflix in the UK, is produced by FX Productions and stars Stephen Rannazzisi (Paul Blart: Mall Cop), Katie Aselton (The Sea of Trees), Mark Duplass (Togetherness), Jon Lajoie (Let’s Be Cops), Nick Kroll (Kroll Show) and Paul Scheer (Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp).
You’re The Worst tells the story of Gretchen and Jimmy, fear, heartbreak, romance, sex, food, Los Angeles, friendship, and the fact that sometimes the worst people make the best partners. The comedy series was created by Stephen Falk and stars Chris Geere (The Spa), Aya Cash (The Wolf of Wall Street), Desmin Borges (The Good Wife) and Kether Donohue (The Carrie Diaries).
