Channel 4Channel 4 has handed out a broadcast pilot order to Look Into My Eyes, a hypnotic prank show featuring 21  year old magician and hypnotist Archie Manners. The pilot is expected to air on Channel 4 later this year.

Look Into My Eyes sees Archie Manners hypnotising members of the British public so that they act in extraordinary ways, such as only telling the truth on a first date. Sometimes Archie’s team of actors are in on it, sometimes those they interact with have no idea what’s going on, but the fun will all be captured for viewers at home through a series of pranks and stunts filmed both overtly and using hidden cameras.

The pilot was commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Formats Dom Bird and Formats Commissioning Editor Danny Carvalho and is being producing by independent production company Objective Productions, who have previously produced magic shows for multi-channel broadcaster UKTV. Paul Gilheany and Andrew Newman are serving as executive producers.
