Channel 4 Sells Raft Of Programming To UKTV & Quest – TVWise

Channel 4 Distribution has racked up sales for a number of their programmes with multi-channel broadcaster UKTV and the Discovery owned Quest.
UKTV has licensed numerous seasons of River Cottage and several Jamie Oliver fronted series. Meanwhile, Quest has acquired Scrapheap Challenges: The Scrappy Races and the first seven seasons of Scrapheap Challenge.
”We’re really pleased to build on our existing relationships with these great broadcasters by matching them to iconic Channel 4 shows, extending the audiences of these popular series even further”, said Holly Newey, Channel 4’s UK Secondary Sales Manager.
The secondary sales deals with both UKTV and Discovery’s Quest follow the recent licensing agreement between Channel 4 Distribution and London Live, which gave the broadcaster the rights to Drop The Dead Donkey, Ali G and the first six seasons of E4’s reality series Made In Chelsea.
