Fox’s Sleepy Hollow is set lose one of its main cast members.
Orlando Jones (House), who has played Captain Frank Irving on Sleepy Hollow since the pilot, is exiting the 20th Century Fox Television produced drama ahead of it’s just ordered third season,TVWise has confirmed. Variety was the first to report the news
Orlando Jones is not the first to exit Sleepy Hollow following the conclusion of its eighteen episode second season. Ahead of the recent renewal, executive producer and showrunner Mark Goffman stepped down and inked an overall deal with CBS Television Studios. The Glades creator Clifton Campbell has been drafted in to serve as EP and showrunner going forward.
Created by Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci, Sleepy Hollow is based on The Legend of the Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. The drama series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television & K/O Paper Products and stars Tom Mison, Orlando Jones, Katia Winter, Nicole Beharie, Lyndie Greenwood and John Noble.
