TBS’ newest comedy series Clipped (formerly known as Buzzy’s, and before that Clipsters) will premiere on Tuesday June 16th at 10/9c, the network announced today.

Clipped follows a group of kids from high school who ran in different circles but now all work together at a local barbershop in Charlestown, Massachusetts, called Buzzy’s which was recently bought by one-time loser Ben. Since taking over the establishment, Ben has become the boss to many of his old classmates, and he’s not afraid to flaunt his more powerful position.

The comedy series has been in the works at TBS for more than two years and scored a series order at the network back in May 2014. Buzzy’s is produced by Warner Bros’ cable division Warner Horizon Television in association with KoMut Entertainment and stars Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical), Mike Castle (Family Trap), Lauren Lapkus (Orange Is the New Black), Ryan Pinkston (Tower Prep), Matt Cook (True Blood) and George Wendt (Cheers).

Clipped is one of several new scripted comedy series in the works at TNT sibling TBS. Relationship comedy Your Family Or Mine, starring Kyle Howard and Kat Foster, premiered on the network early this month and is currently airing on Tuesday nights; while cop drama Angie Tribeca, starring Parks & Recreation‘s Rashida Jones, is set to premiere this Summer.
