Netflix has released a new trailer for their upcoming 13 episode series Marvel’s Daredevil, which is being toplined by Boardwalk Empire alum Charlie Cox.
Marvel’s Daredevil stars Cox as the titular character, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses and fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Other cast members on the ABC Studios and Marvel Television produced drama include Scott Glenn (The Leftovers), Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood), Elden Henson (Intelligence), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Rosario Dawson (Sin City).
Daredevil is one of four drama series and one mini-series that Netflix picked up straight-to-series as part of bumper deal with Disney/Marvel. The series will premiere globally on Netflix on Friday April 10th, while fellow 13 episode dramas AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will rollout throughout 2015 and 2016. Mini-series The Defenders, which ties all four of the previous series together, will then follow in 2017.
