CastleThe seventh season of ABC’s drama series Castle will receive its UK premiere on UKTV’s Alibi channel on Wednesday May 20th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Created by Andrew Marlowe, Castle follows best selling author Richard Castle who, under a prior agreement with the NYPD to observe and assist a detective squad, works alongside Detective Kate Beckett to solve some of the city’s strangest crimes. The drama series is produced by ABC Studios and stars Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan, Molly Quinn, Jon Huertas, Tamala Jones, Seamus Dever and Penny Johnson Jerald.

The opening episode of the show’s seventh season, titled Driven, picks up from the events depicted in the season six finale which saw Richard Castle being chased by an ominous black SUV. Meanwhile, after waiting in vain for Castle to arrive at their wedding, Beckett was called to an accident scene to find Castle’s car in a ravine, engulfed in flames. Who or what caused the car crash? Is there any way Castle could have survived?

I know. This season finishes its run 11 May in the US so more or less when the season finishes States side, it starts here.
Like if season 7 had started in January 2015 (4 months behind the US) I wouldn’t have minded as all 23 episodes would air without breaks and we would only be a bit behind the US (taking in all of the breaks in the US).
