TV Trailer: Netflix’s Marvel Series ‘Daredevil’

Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for their upcoming 13 episode drama series Marvel’s Daredevil.

From executive producer Steven S. DeKnight, Daredevil follows Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses and fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

The drama series hails from ABC Studios and Marvel Television and stars Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire), Scott Glenn (The Leftovers), Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood), Elden Henson (Intelligence), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Rosario Dawson (Sin City).

Daredevil is one of four drama series and one mini-series that Netflix picked up straight-to-series as part of bumper deal with Disney and Marvel. The series will premiere globally on Netflix on Friday April 10th, while fellow 13 episode dramas AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will rollout throughout 2015 and 2016. Mini-series The Defenders, which ties all four of the previous series together, will then follow in 2017.

No one can say that Marvel lets the grass grow under it’s feet, I’m just curious about just how much creative control Stan Lee really has over his movie and televised universe of characters or whether he just likes making Hitchcock style cameo appearances
