The second season of BBC Three’s comedy series Uncle will premiere on Tuesday February 10th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Created by Oliver Refson, Uncle follows Andy, a dissolute out-of work musician who forges an unlikely alliance with his 11-year-old nephew Errol after being morally blackmailed into looking after him by his chaotic sister Sam. Not a natural with either kids or responsibility, Andy tries to keep his new charge out of trouble whilst being knee deep in it himself. The comedy series is produced by Baby Cow Productions and stars Nick Helm, Elliot Speller-Gillot and Daisy Haggard.
In the opening episode of the show’s second season, It’s been a year, and Errol can’t pluck up the courage to ask Ben to drop the restraining order. Sam, now a therapist, is flummoxed by her new client and Andy is stuck in a dead-end job and hasn’t written a song this whole time. Andy and Errol have to sneak around just to spend time together. Can they help each other conquer their fears and get unblocked? Or will demons of old leave them permanently stuck?
