TV Trailer: ‘House Of Cards’ Season 3

House Of CardsThe President will see you now….

On the heels of Kevin Spacey winning a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Frank Underwood in House Of Cards, Netflix has released a new trailer for the political thriller’s upcoming third season, which is set to debut globally on the streaming service on Friday February 27th.

Created by Beau Willimon, House of Cards follows Francis Underwood, the House Majority Whip. Underwood is the politician’s politician – masterful, beguiling, charismatic and ruthless. He and his equally ambitious wife Claire will stop at nothing to ensure their ascendancy. The drama series is produced by Trigger Street Productions & Media Rights Capital and stars Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Kate Mara, Gerald McRaney, Mahershala Ali, Sebastian Arcelus, Kristen Connolly, Nathan Darrow, Sakina Jaffrey, Michael Kelly and Molly Parker.

Netflix has yet release an official synopsis for the show’s third season, but it is set to pick up from the events of the season two finale in which Frank Underwood was finally sworn in as President of the United States after his predecessor, Garrett Walker, resigned amidst a scandal.

We’ll have to wait and see if this third season ends the same as the UK Version that it is loosely based. Season four could be a uniquely US version if Spacey wants to continue the role. Personally I think three seasons is enough Francis Underwood needs to meet his destiny.
