TNT’s drama series Major Crimes will return to Universal Channel to finish airing its 19 episode third season on Monday January 12th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Created by James Duff, Major Crimes follows the major crimes unit of the LAPD under the command of Captain Sharon Raydor. The drama series is produced by Warner Horizon Television and stars Mary McDonnell, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Phillip P. Keene, Kearran Giovanni, Graham Patrick Martin, Nadine Velazquez, Robert Gossett and Jonathan Del Arco.
The back end of the show’s third season will see the squad investigate the murder of a woman serving as a surrogate mother, a vicious attack at a teen party, the death of a former child actor hoping to make a comeback and a bank robbery and shooting that takes place against the backdrop of a Santa Claus flash mob. In addition, Billy Burke, who had a recurring role on The Closer as serial killer Phillip Stroh, is also set to make a guest appearance in the third season finale.
