Consolidated Ratings: BBC Two’s ‘The Fall’ Grows By 50% To Deliver 3 Million Viewers

The Fall – Season 2 Episode 3 (2)The Fall has posted its biggest ever percentage gains in consolidated ratings.

The third episode of the Gillian Anderson fronted thriller, which originally aired on Thursday November 27th at 9pm, pulled in a total audience of 3 million viewers, consolidated figures have revealed.

That is up by some 1 million viewers or 50% on the episode’s initial overnight audience of 2 million viewers and represents the biggest percentage gain the show has ever posted in consolidated vs overnight. Season-to-date The Fall has been averaging an overnight audience of 2.2 million viewers and a consolidated audience of 3.2 million.

Elsewhere at 9pm on the night of November 27th, ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here added 1.6 million viewers or 18% to it initial overnight audience of 8.7 million viewers to deliver 10.3 million viewers; and Channel 4′s 24 Hours In A&E managed 2.1 million viewers, posting gains of 0.4 million viewers and 24% on its initial audience of 1.7 million viewers.
