'The Meaning Of Live' Sneak Peek: Eric Idle, Brian Cox & Stephen Hawking Create Sketch For Monty Python Stage Show – TVWise

UKTV’s Gold Channel has unveiled a first look clip from their upcoming Monty Python documentary Monty Python: The Meaning Of Live.
Helmed by Roger Graef OBE and James Rogan, the 90 minute film has been described as “the ultimate Monty Python documentary” and tells the story of Monty Python‘s ground-breaking live performances and includes rarely seen footage from stage shows in 1971 and 1980.
In addition, the producers also secured access to unparalleled access to film behind-the-scenes in the run-up to Monty Python 2014 reunion and as such the documentary offers rare insight into the nature of the collaboration and friendships of the five surviving members of the group.
The clip that has been released by UKTV features Eric Idle reminiscing about his long friendship with Professor Brian Cox and recounting the story of how they roped Stephen Hawking into helping them create a sketch for the 2014 live show.
