ITV has renewed the hit daytime series for a further two seasons, which will air in 2015. The total size of the pickup is for 100 episodes, which will be evenly split across seasons two and three.

From ITV Studios Judge Rinder has been described as the UK’s Judge Judy and sees Robert Rinder presiding over up to three real life cases in his small claims court. The series, which frequently draws more than 1 million viewers to its 2pm time-slot, is produced Kate Broadhurst, with Tom Mclennan serving as executive producer.

“I’m delighted to be bringing Judge Rinder back to ITV Daytime for a further two series”, said ITV’s Director of Daytime Helen Warner, who commissioned the series. “Rob has a unique appeal to viewers of all ages and the show is brilliantly produced by Tom McLennan and his team.”

I’m thrilled that the show is returning for yet another two series and I can’t wait to bring justice to more people and work on even more challenging and entertaining cases”, added Robert Rinder.
