The first season of Dominion will receive its UK premiere on Syfy UK on Thursday October 30th at 10pm, it has been announced.

Dominion is set 25 years after the events of the movie and picks up in the aftermath of a catastrophic war between an army of angels and mankind that has transformed the world. In Vega (formerly Las Vegas), the largest of these cities, two houses vie for control and the stage is set for political upheaval and a dangerous power shift. Meanwhile, a rebellious young soldier begins a perilous journey, set against a backdrop of the ultimate celestial battle as it touches down on earth.

The series, which was just renewed for a 13 episode second season, is based on the 2010 feature film Legion and was one of the first dramas to emerge from the US Syfy’s re-commitment to scripted originals. Dominion is produced by Universal Cable Productions & Bold Films and stars Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale. The executive producers are Vaun Wilmott, Scott Stewart, Michel Litvak and David Lancaster.
