Channel 4 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Homeland’ Season 4

The fourth season of Showtime’s Homeland will receive its UK premiere on Channel 4 on Sunday October 12th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Based on the Israeli series Hatufim, Homeland was created by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa & Gideon Raff and follows Carrie Mathison, a CIA case officer who finds herself battling her own demons while she works on the front lines of the War on Terror. The drama series is produced by Fox 21 and stars Clare Danes, Mandy Patinkin, Rupert Friend, Tracy Letts, Nazanin Boniadi and Laila Robins.

The show’s fourth season is poised to pick up from the season three finale which saw a pregnant Carrie Mathison promoted to Station Chief; while Saul Berenson, having been passed over for the Directorship, leaves the CIA. Both Saul and Carrie must adapt to their new positions now that she has been assigned to one of the most volatile and dangerous CIA stations in the Middle East.
