BBC Two’s new co-production Intruders will premiere on Monday October 27th at 9pm, with a double-bill, it has been announced.
Intruders is described as “a contemporary and chilling drama set in the moody American Pacific Northwest” which tells the story of a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others. It follows Jack Whelan, a former Los Angeles cop with a troubled and violent past who finds the quiet, idyllic life he has crafted with his wife Amy shattered when she goes missing.
The series is based on the novel by Michael Marshall Smith and was developed for television by X-Files alum Glen Morgan. Intruders is produced by BBC Worldwide and stars John Simm (Prey), Mira Sorvino (Falling Skies), James Frain (The White Queen), Tory Kittles (True Detective) and Millie Brown (Once Upon A Time In Wonderland). The executive producers are Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner, Glen Morgan, Rose Lam and Sue Deeks.
