After a strong showing at MIPCOM, Atlantic Productions has inked a slew of international deals for a range of their factual series including the David Attenborough fronted Rise of Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates and engineering series Timescanners.
The production and company has sold Rise of Animals: Triumph of the Vertebrates, which shows the key moments in evolution that led mammals to dominate the world, to Prima TV in the Czech Republic, SVT in Sweden, RAI in Italy and France TV.
Atlantic Productions has also licensed Timescanners, which uses laser scans to explore the engineering secrets of built wonders of the world, to Télé-Québec in Canada as well as Prima TV and SVT.
Elsewhere, Sky Italia has snapped up David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive! and Conquest of the Skies for their 3D channel; while France TV has picked up Penguin King and Flying Monsters with David Attenborough.
Down under, Australian public broadcaster ABC has acquired David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skiesalongside Flying Monsters; while Atlantic has sold has Conquest of the Skies and Natural History Museum Alive! to New Zealand’s TVNZ .
