Amazon Unveils Key Art For 'Ripper Street' Season 3 – TVWise

Amazon Prime Instant Video UK has unveiled the key art for the third season of Ripper Street.
Ripper Street hails from Richard Warlow, Tiger Aspect Productions & Lookout Point and follows the notorious ‘H’ Division, the police precinct charged with keeping order on the meanest beat imaginable: late Victorian Whitechapel. The series stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg & MyAnna Buring.
Originally a BBC One drama, Ripper Street becomes a Amazon original with its third season. The show initially aired two seasons on the BBC, before being cancelled in late 2013. Amazon Prime Instant Video then stepped in, striking a deal with the BBC and the series producers to commission an 8 episode third season, which airs in an exclusive window on the streaming service, before debuting on BBC One and BBC America in 2015.
Amazon Prime Instant Video UK is scheduling the series weekly rather than utilising the so-called “Netflix model” of releasing the entire season in one go, with the third season premiere scheduled for Friday November 14th at 9pm. Amazon will be streaming extended editions of the episodes, which will feature footage which will not feature in the later transmissions on BBC One and BBC America.
The new season picks up in 1894 and opens with the violent heist of a goods train which sets off a cataclysmic chain reaction that reunites Reid, Drake, Jackson and Long Susan, before spiralling uncontrollably toward a conclusion that will leave them changed forever.
