Yahoo has hired former Disney and Endemol executive Tom Toumazis.
The veteran exec has joined the internet giant as Head of Partnerships for EMEA and will report to Dawn Airey, Yahoo’s Senior Vice-President for EMEA.
In his new role, which Yahoo said he would take up immediately, Tomazis will have oversight of the company’s partnership efforts, working closely with the Global Partnerships, Sales, Media and Ad Technology teams.
A 30 year industry veteran, Tom Toumazis previously served as Executive Vice President & Managing Director for Disney, where he was responsible for programme and channel distribution across EMEA and Canada. After Disney he joined Endemol as Chief Commercial Officer, before seguing to Mecom Group as CEO.
