Objective Productions Co-Founder Michael Vine Exits

Michael VineMichael Vine is to exit independent production company Objective Productions.

Co-founded by Vine and Andrew O’Connor in 1996, Objective Productions, which was sold to ALL3MEDIA in 2007, has a strong track record in producing entertainment and comedy series for major broadcasters including Channel 4, UKTV and Comedy Central UK. Some of the indie’s better known productions include Peep Show, Fresh Meat, The Happenings and Big Bad World.

At Objective, Michael Vine served as Joint Managing Director and headed up the indie’s talent management label. Following his departure, the Objetive will continue to operate under CEO Andrew Newman; while Vine will continue to manage talent through his own company Michael Vine Associates and will pursue television and movie projects.

“It has been seven years since we sold to All3Media and working with Steve Morrison and Farah Ramzan Golant along with their team has been a fascinating journey”, said Objective Productions Co-Founder Michael Vine. “I am leaving Objective in very good shape with a highly talented team lead by Andrew Newman”.
