‘Perception’ Jumps To UKTV’s Alibi Channel

Perception

Perception is moving to UKTV’s Alibi channel for its upcoming third season, TVWise has learned.

Created by Kenneth Biller & Mike Sussman, Perception follows Dr Daniel Pierce, an eccentric neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. The drama series is produced by ABC Studios and stars Eric McCormack, Rachel Leigh Cook, Arjay Smith, Kelly Rowan and LeVar Burton.

UKTV initially acquired the Eric McCormack fronted drama from Disney Media Distribution back in August 2012 and aired the first two seasons of the series on their flagship entertainment channel Watch between 2012 and 2014. The show will now move to UKTV’s crime channel Alibi for its third season, which is set to air in September.

Alibi, which is also the exclusive UK home to fellow TNT series Rizzoli & Isles, is a natural home for Perception, arguably more so than Watch, especially given the channel’s focus on crime series. Perception joins a lineup of series on Alibi which include the aforementioned Rizzoli & Isles, The Glades and Castle.
