While The Shield star Michael Chiklis is also set to appear in a guest starring role
The American Horror Story franchise has been a key title for FOX UK (then FX UK) since 2011. The acquisition of season four from Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution comes after American Horror Story: Coven pulled in strong ratings for FOX UK, with a consolidated audience of more than 200K viewers.
The confirmation that FOX UK will be airing the new season of American Horror Story comes shortly after the broadcaster confirmed that they will also be airing the new season of ratings hit The Walking Dead later this year. Both announcements comes at a key time for FOX UK who are losing two of their key shows: Burn Notice and True Blood; the former of which recently wrapped its run, while True Blood began its final season last night.
