The CW Sets Fall Premiere Dates: ‘Arrow’, ‘The 100’, ‘The Flash’ & More Debut In October

Following the leads of NBC and CBS, The CW has today released the premiere dates for their fall line up.

The network is sticking to a strategy pioneered by CW President Mark Pedowitz, namely holding all season and series premieres until October, when most of the other network’s have already launched their new series.

Things kick off on October 2nd with the season premieres of The Vampire Diaries and Reign. That is followed by The Originals on October 6th and the series premiere of The Flash and the season premiere of Supernatural on October 7th.

The third season of flagship series Arrow kicks off on Wednesday October 8th, paired with an encore of the Flash premiere. Jane The Virgin premieres on October 13th, America’s Next Top Model on Friday October 17th and the second season of The 100 on October 22nd.

As previously announced, The CW is holding Beauty & The Beast, Hart of Dixie, The Messengers and iZombie for midseason.
