Tracy Morgan is reportedly in critical condition following a car accident in New Jersey.
Per CNN, the incident occurred early Saturday morning and involved six vehicles, including Morgan’s limo, two tractor-trailers and an SUV.
There was one fatality, while four others, including Tracy Morgan, were hospitalised at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Morgan, repped by CAA, is best known to audiences for his turns on Saturday Night Live and the NBC comedy 30 Rock, on which he starred for seven seasons between 2006 and 2013.
According to CNN, Morgan was returning from Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover, Delaware, where he performed on Friday night, when the accident occurred.
“Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital”, said Morgan’s spokesperson in a statement. “He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available.”
