Discovery Channel, who are marking their 25th year in the UK, have unveiled their new brand proposition: “Make Your World Bigger”
The broadcaster, which launched in the UK in 1989, said that at its core “Make Your World Bigger” is a declaration of Discovery Channel’s mission to “entertain, enlighten and engage” audiences, whilst also setting out the channel’s promise for the next 25 years.
The “Make Your World Bigger” initiative will include a major brand campaign, TV spots featuring key talent from the channel sharing their passions and inspirations (see video, below), social media and PR campaigns, as well as a competition on the channel’s website which will invite viewers to engage with the new brand proposition by sharing their own “Make Your World Bigger” stories. The brand strategy will also be rolled out across Western Europe.
