Watershed TV has recruited Mentorn Media executive Emma Morgan to serve as the production company’s first creative director, TVWise
As Watershed TV’s Creative Director, Morgan’s responsibilities will include growing the company’s slate of factual and factual entertainment formats. She will take up the newly created post in May and will report to Watershed TV Managing Director Mark Rubens.
Emma Morgan is currently serving as Mentorn Media’s Director of Development and Executive Producer and has been with the company for the past three years. In her time at Mentorn, she has helped secure commissions for BBC Three’s Hotel of Mum and Dad and Channel 4’s The Fried Chicken Shop. Before joining Mentorn in 2010, she served as the Head of Development and Executive Producer at Twofour Broadcast.
Watershed TV, owned by Shed Media Group which is in turn part of Warner Bros. Television Group, launched in 2011 and has produced numerous factual hits including last year’s Ramadan season for Channel 4 and Stacey Dooley’s New Drug Frontiers for BBC Three. The company is also developing new projects for the BBC, CBBC, Channel 4 and Channel Five.
