Sky1 Renews ‘A League Of Their Own’ Through 2017

Sky1’s panel show A League Of Their Own, fronted by James Corden, has been renewed for a further three seasons.

The three year deal between Sky and producer CPL Productions ensures that the series will make it to an eleventh season, remaining on air until at least 2017.

The renewal, which comes ahead of the launch of season eight this Summer, comprises of three 8 episode seasons of A League Of Their Own and 2 episode runs of A League Of Their Own Unseen.

“A League of Their Own’s energetic blend of sport and big hearty laughter has grown to become one of Sky 1’s strongest returning series”, said Sky1 Director Adam MacDonald. “Its popularity with Sky customers is a thing to treasure and I’m delighted we have agreed a three year deal to continue that success story.”

While Murray Boland, Creative Director of CPL Productions, added: “It’s great to be returning with a further three series of A League Of Their Own – the last series was our most successful ever and it just keeps getting better and better.”
