ITV’s new three part drama Prey will premiere on Monday April 28th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Prey tells the story of a man on the run, desperate to clear his name for the sake of his family. When Detective Constable Marcus Farrow (John Simm), a well-liked copper with a wife and two kids, is found at the scene of a brutal crime his world starts to collapse. Arrested and charged, it seems Farrow’s fate is sealed. So when he gets the opportunity to escape, and ultimately clear his name, he seizes it with both hands.
The three-parter was created by television newcomer Chis Lunt and directed by Nick Murphy. Produced by Red Production Company, the series utilised an unconventional filming technique, described by Executive Producer Nicola Shindler as “guerrilla style”, to give it an edgier look. In addition to Simm, Prey stars Rosie Cavaliero (Cabbage & Pat), Craig Parkinson (The Mill), Adrian Edmondson (Bottom), Heather Peace (Lip Service), Charlie Concannon (Moving On), Anastasia Hille (Snow White And The Huntsman) and Ezra Dent-Watson.
